Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Storage Jar witih Original Lid.  
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Squared Rim, Tapered Sides, Ridged Footer, and Mocha Decoration.  The decoration consistes of two black pinstripes framing a wide white band with four large blue seaweed decorations.  The matching lid repeats the bands which host three blue florals that are slightly impressed into the clay.  The base measures 4 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.  The base has a faint hairline across the base that does not reach either side.  That's it!  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid is as made, with four firing lines on the outer yellow band in the making (the largest one is in the closeup).
