Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Tiny 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot.
The decoration is distinctive of Daniel Shenfelder who made pottery in Reading, Pennsylvania from approximately 1860-1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 24-26).
This beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Slightly Exaggerated Rim for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top, and a Freehand Vine with a Fuchsia Blossom Cascading Halfway Around the Middle. The vining has 24 leaves and a blossom with 6 petals. Shiny blue on a light gray background for pleasing contrast. Stands 7 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. A faint 2 1/2" hairline from the rim in the back (closeup). No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
