• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and uncommon 1 Gallon Jar made by "J. Eneix, New Geneva, PA. "

This is the mark of James Eneix who made stoneware in New Geneva for the brief period of 1874-1876 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 165).

This beauty features the Company Advertising Framing a Center Floral.   Not a decoration that I have ever seen before on an Eneix.  Stands 10" tall.

Excellent Condition.  A narrow and faint stain run on the right of the decoration.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A run of slip from inside on the right side in the making.

Eneix stoneware is not commonly seen due to the brief period of manufacture.
