Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar made in Southwestern Pennsylvania by one of the Hamilton potteries of Greensboro.  

 

Circa 1880, this beauty features the Wax Sealer Form with Tooled Rim and Two Emblems in Mirror Reflection of One Another. Both of the emblems are crisply stenciled in strong cobalt blue. Stands 8" tall.

 

Excellent Condition. Three small chips on the inner rim (1/8" to 1/4") and some minor nibbles on the bottom rung of the tooled rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
