Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and impressed for the merchant, "E. W. Hale, Boston."
Hale was a grocer in Boston in the late 19th century.
Dating around 1880, this beauty features the Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash and a Cobalt Plume Up the Front. Measures 11" tall.
Excellent Condition. A small stain on the right side, and three small chips on the underside at the edge (1/8", 1/4", 3/4"). That's it! No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
