Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Butter or Cake Crock from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Squared Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Applined handles, and Brushed Cobalt Leaves Around the Middle.  Additional cobalt accent around the handles.  Measures 5 1/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  A chip inside the rim (5/8"), outside the rim (1/2"), chip on top of one handle (1/2"), and a minor 1/4" chip at the base.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Clean glaze.
