Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Dating around 1860, this beauty features a Tall and Cylindrical Form with Carefully Tooled Rim and a Double Clover Floral on Each Side.  Each floral has 10 leaves and 2 blossoms with 3 petals each.  Rich and shiny cobalt was used throughout the decoration.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A  1/1/4" chip on the rim on one side and a flat and narrow 1 1/4" flake on top of the rim on the other side what may be in the making.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Some vertical scratches on one side in the making.
