Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Cuspidor Spittoon made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Dating around 1850, this beauty features a Garland of Freehand Vining and Four Dangling Flowers Around the Middle.  It took 47 brushstrokes of cobalt to make the decoration.  Measures 3 1/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide. 
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble on the top and two flat chips on the underside at the edge (1/2", 3/4").   That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A kiln touch on the top edge in the making.
