Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jug from the Northeast.  
 
Circa 1830, this beauty features a Diminutive Size, Ovoid Form, Rounded Spout, and a Little Birdie in a Nest Decoration Created with Albany Slip Glaze.  Not a decoration that you see often, especially using this type of glaze.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Some exfoliation on the underside and some scattered staining.  That's it!  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
