  • Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Teapot.  


    Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Bulbous Body with Vertical Spout, Pointed Handle and Domed Lid with Finial.  Strong cobalt sponging.  Measures 7" to the top of the finial.


    Very Good Condition.  The teapot has minor nibbles on the inner rim where the lid sits, both 1/2" lid holder tabs on top are gone, a minor 1/8" nibble on the spout, and crazing on the bottom not visible inside.  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  The lid has professional restoration for chips around the bottom edge (closeup).   


    Asking 20% for what a mint one would retail.
