Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Stoneware Bowl.  
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Semi-Squared Rim, Canted Sides, Tall Footer, and Careful Sponged Decoration.  Three center stripes are framed by a border of loops at the top and flaring columns on the bottom.  All the cobalt is rich and shiny.  Measures 5" tall and 11" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" clay void inside at the bottom.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Three tripod marks inside at the bottom from the making.
