Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 2 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "J. Fisher, Lyons, N.Y."
This is the work of Jacob Fisher who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Capacity Number to its Left and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip. The tulip sports four leaves and a blossom with four petals. Fisher's tulips are all beautiful! Measures 9 1/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Some scattered light staining. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration .
