Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Canning Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Manufacturer, Greensboro, Pa." 
 
Thomas Reppert made pottery solo in Greensboro from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 157-159).  
 
This beauty features a Lidded Jar Form with Inner Lid-Seating Rim, and the Company Advertising Surrounded by Vining.  Stands 9 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles and a 3/8" chip on the lid-seating ring.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
