Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made by "A. Conrad, Shinnston, W. VA."
 
This is the mark of Alexander Conrad made stoneware in Shinnston from 1882 to around 1890 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 100).
 
This beauty features the Company Name and Address Surrounding a Large Center Floral Decoration and Accented by Leaves and Small Flowers.   Complete and crisp stenciling in strong cobalt.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.
