Coming to you from Doc's Crocks these two Stoneware Jars made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, West Virginia. 

 

Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.

 

The 1 gallon Jar has some of the largest stenciling Donaghho used on his stoneware and the 1/2 gallon wax sealer has some of the smallest.  

 

The jar is as made except for a 3" hairline from the rim as shown.  Otherwise, as made.  The wax sealer has some chips inside the rim, a chip under the rim in the back (1 1/2"), and some chips on the underside at the edge as shown.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
