Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny 1/2 Gallon Decorated Jar.
 
This is most likely the work of Madison Woodruff who ran the only pottery in Cortland, N.Y. from 1849-1885.  He liked to make 1/2 gallon jars and jugs, many of which have quite unique decorations  (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 71).
 
This beauty sports the Tiny 7 3/4" Size, 1/2 Capacity Number, and a Dotted Bumblebee Decoration.  I have included a lid that is not original, but fits very well and matches the interior Albany slip.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
