Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Whites of Utica Stoneware Mug with Fox Hunt Scene.
 
It was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York between 1890 and 1907 when they made their fantastic molded stoneware,
 
This beauty features Fancy Top and Bottom Trim that Frame a Fox Hunt Scene Around the Middle.  Moving from left and right to the middle of the scene are 12 hunters on horseback and 9 dogs getting assembled for the hunt.  All the scene is illustrated with country scenery in the background.  All the decoration is incised and filled with cobalt.  Stands 4 1/2" tall.   
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  
 
I have a larger size of this mug at the time of this listing.  That mug has the hunters and dogs actually chasing a fox.
