Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Whites Utica."

This is a work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 69-70).

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and one of White's signature decorations: an Orchid Executed with a Slip Cup. The orchid has two leaves with horizontal striping, and a blossom with two petals with vertical stripe accents.  Gorgeous!  Stands 11 1/2" tall.

Excellent Condition.  A narrow 1/4" nick on the bend of the handle, and two narrow chips on the bottom edge (1/2", 1").   That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.

    Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE!
