Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy Pottery." 

 

This is a mark used by William Warner of West Troy, New York (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871. 

 

Circa 1870, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Large and Fancy Capacity Number "3" in Bright Cobalt Blue created with Many Dots and Dashes. Stands 15 1/2" tall. 

 

Excellent Condition.  Two chips on the top of the spout in the back (1/8", 1/2") and some light scattered stains.  That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
