Item 8402
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny 10" Tabletop Churn.
The flower with the circle between the stem framed by dangling leaves makes a probable attribution to Mauldine Perine or his former associate, William Linton of Baltimore, Maryland. Perine and sons worked in stoneware from approximately 1827 to after 1900 and Lindon made stoneware from 1845 to 1867 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 98).
This beauty is a Tiny 10" Size Tabletop Churn with Rounded Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, and a Dangling Tulip Framed by Leaves. Bright brushed cobalt throughout the decoration. Stands 10" tall.
Excellent Condition. An 1/8" nibble on the rim and two chips on one handle (1/4", 1/2"). That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
