Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Oyster Jar made for "T. M. Granger."
 
I suspect by the color of the glaze that this jar was made in the Northeastern USA.
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features the Oyster Jar Form with Wide Mouth, Impressed Merchant Name, and a Pumpkiin-Colored Glaze.  Stands 7" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Some glaze wear around the opening.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
