Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made in and stamped "Lyons." 
 
This is the work of Thompson Harrington who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1852 to 1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 73-74).
 
This beauty sports a Cute Small Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, a Freehand "1" Capacity Number, and a Brushed Cobalt Plume Decoration.  The plume is comprised of a leaf with one exaggerated section.  Measures 8" tall and 8" wide across the top. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
