Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).
 
This beauty sports a Squatty Rounded Form, Pottery Stampe with Cobalt Wash, and a Flower Blossom with a Dozen Petals.  Additional cobalt accent at the handle terminals. Measures 7" tall and 8" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor narrow shallow 1/2" chip on the top of the rim. That's it!  No base  chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 2" surface drying line inside (closeup) and some fine bubbles in the cobalt in the making.
