Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusual Recumbant Lion on a Plinth.
The front of the plinth is embossed in applied lettering with what appears to be "D. L'Alor." It was once mounted on something using the holes on the four corners. Perhaps a clock topper, window advertisement, or ??? The base measures 7" long and 3 1/2" wide, and the entire piece is 5" tall.
Excellent Condition. A single 1/8" nibble on the "L" of the applied script. Otherwise mint.
