Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Mini Jug that reads, "Write Merrill, Greer, Chapman Co., Crockery, St. Paul."  
 
This little ink mini jug was made for this company by Red Wing as indicated by the red wing on the back.   It is pictures in Dan DePasquale and Larry Peterson, Red Wing Stoneware Encyclopedia, p. 208 as shown above.
