Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "Sipe, Nichols & Co., Williamsport, PA."
 
This is the stamp of William Sipe, Joe Nichols, and Abram Young who ran the pottery on Market Street from 1875-1879 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 62-63).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip on the Front with Seven Leaves and a Blossom with Six Petals.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles inside the rim and a narrow 1/2" chip on the base in the back.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
