Coming to you from Doc's Crock is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Seymour & Bosworth, Hartford."
 
This is the work of Israel Seymour and Stanley Bosworth who ran the pottery in Hartford Connecticut from 1871 to around 1890 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, 61).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Aspen Leaf in Brilliant Cobalt Blue.  Stands 15" tall
 
Excellent Condition.  A few scattered, light stains from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some roughness on the top of the right side of the spout from separation from the jug above in the kiln in the making.
