Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wondeful Little 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock stamped "Robets, Binghamton, N.Y."
 
This is the mark of William Roberts, son-in-law of Noah White of Whites Utica Pottery, Utica, New York.  He founded a branch of the family business in Binghamton, New York in 1848 and ran it until 1888 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 71).
 
This beauty features a Small Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Cobalt Orchid Executed with a Slip Cup.  Measures 7" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some very light scattered staining.  That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A 3/4" chip on the right handle in the making and partially glazed over.
