This is the work of Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality.
 
This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash, Coggled Shoulder,Incised Bird with a Fish in its Grasp, and a Blue Tint on Light Gray Clay.  The decoration is inspired by the 19th century New England Pottery.  Folk art at its best!  Measures 12" tall.
