Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "Showell & Fryer, Limited, Importing Grocers, Wines, Liquors and Cigars, Philadelphia."
 
Circa 1900, it was clearly made by the Sherwood Brothers of New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
 
This beauty features the Two-Tone Coloration and a Clearly Stenciled Label with 4 Lines of Advertising.   The label has it all- grocer, liquor, and cigars references all on one jug!
 
Excellent Condition. A single 1/4" chip on the back at the bottom.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
