Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Butter Crock with Lid that reads, "Compliments of A. Perrez, Provision House, 141-142 Main St. (West), Rochester, N.Y.  Retail Dealer in Wm. J. Moxley's Special Oleomargarine.  Better than Butter.  The Taste is the Test."  
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features Blue and White Stripes Top and Bottom that Frame a Bordered Label with 11 Lines of Advertising and a Graphic Depiction of the Moxley Butter Carton. Stands 6 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  The base is as made except for some small spots of light staining from use. The lid has a single pinhead-size nibble on the underside at the edge.  Otherwise both pieces are mint.
