Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's, Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
 
This beauty features a Syrup Jug Form with Pouring Spout, Squatty Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Bluebird on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 12" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Some kiln marks and a narrow 1/2" stone ping on the branch in the making.
