Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Nichols & Boynton, Burlington, VT. "
 
This is the stamp of Nichols and Boynton who worked together in Burlngton from 1854-1855 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 45). 
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Double Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Stands 11 3/4" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" flake and a 1/2" chip on the spout, and some staining from use.   No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
