Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantabulous 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Company, Fort Edward, N.Y."  
 
This company was in operation in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features a Small Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Bird on a Branch created with a slip cup.  The bird is larger than most on the few you find on a 1 Gallon Jug and the Cobalt is, well, Fantabulous (I discovered this is actually a word- combination of fantastic and fabulous). It would be hard to find a better bird on a 1 gallon jug.  Stands 11" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple very small stains.  Otherwise, as made.
