Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip in Bright and Shiny Cobalt.  Country simplicity at its best.  Stands 10 1/8" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A few minor 1/8" nibbles on the base.  That's it!   No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
