    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "M. Salzman & Co., 'Purity Above All.'"  


    Salzman made bleach and his was a commonly used product at the turn of the 20th century.


    It was made and stamped on the bottom by the "R. C. P. Co., Akron, O.," the Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron, Ohio. This company was in existence from 1900-1915.


    This beauty is the small 1/2 Gallon Size with the Capacity Number in a Crown and a Fancy Stenciled Label that Incorporates the Company Logo.  Stands 9 1/4" tall.


    Very Good Condition.  An 1/8" nibble inside the spout, a 1/4" flake on top of the spout, nine chips around the platform (1/4" to 1/2"), and three chips at the base (1/8" to 3/8").  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.


    A great piece for decorating a laundry room.
