    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 2 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Script Jug made for "M. H. Haussling, 134-6 N.J. R.R. Ave., Newark, N.J."  


    It was made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey around 1900.


    This beauty features the Company Advertising in 4 Lines of Large, Fancy Cobalt Script. Besides the historical value, the script is extremely precise and very pleasing to the eye. Notice the reference to the New Jersey Railroad too! Stands 13 3/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Two chips on the spout (1/4", 3/4"), a surface glaze ping to the right of the handle, some minor pinhead glaze nibbles on the back, and a stain run on the back to the left.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
