Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Jug made for "M. C. R. M. C. Russell, Maysville, K." 
 
Russell ran a liquor store on the Corner of 3rd and Market Streets in Maysville, KY around 1900.
 
This beauty is Tanware and features 3 Lines of Clear and Crisp Stenciled Advertising in a Rectangular Label. Stands 10" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A faint 2" vertical surface craze line on the far left of the stencil (closeu 1) and two adjacent chips on the bottom edge (3/8", 5/8").   That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
