Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made for the merchant, "Lipscomb & Somerville, Staunton, VA." 
 
This beauty was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, W.V.  Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900. 
 
This jar features the Tooled Overhanging Rim to Facilitate Tying a Cover Over the Top, and the Stenciled Merchant Name and Address in Bright Cobalt Blue.  Measures 8" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light staining on the lower half.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
