Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Decorated Jar made for "E. J. Miller & Son, China and Glass Ware, Alexandria, VA."
 
This jar was made in SW Pennsylvania, and I suspect by T. F. Reppert of Greensboro ( I have seen a couple of these jars with the Reppert stencil on the back ).
 
Dating around 1885, this beauty features Two Top and On Bottom Stripe that Frame Five Lines of Advertising.  A perennial favorite with collectors. Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  The outline of a superficial 1" flake on the underside.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
