Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "C. B. Somerville & Co., Staunton, VA."
Circa 1880, this jug features a Bullet Shape, Squared rim, and Company Advertising Stenciled in a Fancy Cartouche. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 1/4" chip on the left side of the spout, a hairline through the handle near the top (see top picture), and a chip above the stencil to the right from a kiln touch. No base chips, body hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
