Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made for "A. J. Kerr & Co., 99 E. Seneca St., Buffalo, N.Y." 
 
It was made and stamped by C. W. Braun, Buffalo, N.Y."  This is the mark of Charles W. Braun who ran the old Heiser pottery in Buffalo from 1857-1896 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 75).
 
Dating around 1880, this beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Three Lines of Cobalt Script Advertising.  Stands 13 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Some scattered minor staining.  That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A stone ping on the side and under the handle in the making.
