Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made by "Jas. Hamilton & Co., Greensboro, PA."  
 
James Hamilton ran his pottery in Greensboro from the 1860's to 1880 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features the Company Advertising surrounding a Lily Pad.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.   Two chips inside (1/4", 3/8") and one outside (1/4") the spout, and overall staining from use.   No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
