Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "J. Ragan & Sons, Groceries, Wines & Liquors, Syracuse, N.Y." 
 
It was made and stamped on the bottom by the "R. C. P. Co., Akron, O."  This is the Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron, Ohio that operated from 1900-1915.
 
This beauty has the Desirable 1/2 Gallon Size, Classic Platform Form, 3 Lines of Stencilled Advertising, and Robinson Clay Stamp.  Measures 9" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A semi-circular scratch in the glaze to the left of the stencil (closeup), and two 1/2" chips on the underside at the edge.  No spout or platform chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Imperfections in the glaze in the making.
