Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran the company from 1875-1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Bird on a Branch Decoration in Bright Cobalt Blue that fills the Front.  Measures 9 1/2" tall and 10 1/4" wide across the top.   
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the rim and two small rust stains on the back.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
