Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran the company from 1875-1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Large Leaf with Cobalt Accents on the Front.  Strong cobalt and a skilled artist.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.   
 
Excellent Condition. Even minor chipping and wear around the inner lid-seating ring.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
