Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Snuff Jar made for "Geo. W. Halme, Cor. Water & Pine St., N.Y."
I suspect that it was made by Pfaltzgraff of York, Pennsylvania.
Circa 1890, this beauty features Four Lines of Fancy Script Advertising. Stands 8 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A few very minor nibbles on the inner lid-seating ring, and a 1/4" chip outside the rim on the left side. That's it! No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
