    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar made for the merchant, "E. B. Taylor, Richmond, VA."

     

    This beauty was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, W.V. Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.

     

    This jar features a "Zipper" or "Tire Tread" Decoration on a Diagonal Across the Top, and the Company Advertising on the Same Diagonal Across the Bottom.  All the decoration is crisp and in dark and rich cobalt.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition. A couple minor nibbles inside the rim. That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Glaze runs coming up from the bottom on the front from being fired upside down!
