Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Decorated 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot.
 
The form and decoration indicate that it was made in Eastern Pennsylvania around 1860.
 
This beauty features a very desirable Ovoid Form with Squared Rim, Tooled Shoulder, Applied Handles, Undulating Tulip Vining on One Side and a Large Dangling Clover on the Other. The dark cobalt is generously applied like we like it! Additional cobalt around the handle terminals.  Measures 10 1/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.   
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 1/4" chip on one handle.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
