Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Ovoid Cream Pot made and stamped by "D. Roberts & Co., Utica."
 
This is the work of David Roberts who potted in Utica from 1827-1830 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 69).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, Early Ovoid Shape, Applied Handles, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Double Floral.  Measures 10 1/4" tall and 12 1/4" wide across the top. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Remarkable for being 200 years old!
